📝 Planning in an Autism Class looks a little different than mainstream ✨

Here’s how I structure mine:
✔️ Long-term plans = Student Support Plan (SSP) targets
✔️ Yearly thematic plan = topics linked broadly to curricular areas
✔️ Literacy & numeracy plans = same themes, differentiated for class levels
✔️ Fortnightly plans / Cuntas Míosúil = linked back to curriculum areas
✔️ Invisible planning = regulation strategies, visuals, communication supports

💡 The most important part is the SSPs – small, achievable goals that are reviewed a few times a year.
